If you’re reading this review, I am going to assume that you want to learn how to play blackjack so that you have a decent shot of beating the casinos. While I can’t promise you that you will ever make any money gambling (that’s why they call it gambling) I can promise you that this course is solid and will give you everything you need to have a fighting chance.
Let me start out by saying that this isn’t just another book on basic strategy and card counting. Please, any idiot can put something like that together. Heck, the casinos actually have basic strategy charts that they’ll let you use so you don’t have to memorize all that stuff. No, this book is way more than that. The author dives into the inner workings of the casinos and how blackjack is run at the tables. Some of what goes on would make your hair stand on end.
Here are just some of the things that the author goes into in this book aside from the obvious stuff that it better have.
“The one thing you MUST do before you even place one bet on the table.” The pros know this, but most beginners don’t have a clue and not doing it will leave you at a serious disadvantage.
“How to optimize basic strategy based on other factors.” I have to admit, this section is a little intense and does take a while to understand, but once you do, you will have a HUGE advantage over the house.
“How to use a multi deck counting system that can’t be spotted by any casino.” This may be my favorite part of the whole book. It is absolutely brilliant.
Okay, what I love about the book. It goes way beyond what you would expect to find in a book about blackjack. You will MORE than get your money’s worth.
What I don’t love about the book. There are sections that are quite complex. Nobody said this was an easy game and unfortunately, some of this stuff does take a little bit of brain power and concentration. If you’re looking for a no work push button winning system, look elsewhere. This isn’t it.
